"Orange Crush" Campaign
Oklahoma State University holds a marketing campaign “Orange Crush – Share Your OSU Love Story” every year during the week of Valentine's Day. Orange Crush is a multi university division effort, which leverages Valentine’s Day to draw attention to the lifelong relationships which began at Oklahoma State University. The overall event is also designed to draw attention to several campus initiatives including prospective student recruitment, alumni awareness and membership marketing as well as establishing donor relations.
My role:
- Spearheaded the campaign's joint editorial calendar, which involved writing content for OSU's social media platforms and websites for five strategic partners.
- Brainstormed video concepts and graphics used to promote the campaign.
- Coordinated with OSU stakeholders to secure prizes for the entrants.
- Monitored entries for the duration of the campaign and selects prize winners.
- Supported the Associate Director and key stakeholders prior, during and after the campaign.
- Ensured the campaign's efforts continue to be implemented during the coming months following the contest.
